The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Pondicherry, located on South Boulevard, is a renowned Catholic church with a history spanning over 100 years. Completed in 1908 by French missionaries, the church is celebrated for its magnificent Gothic Revival architecture, highlighted by towering spires and intricate detailing. In recognition of its religious and historical importance, it was elevated to the status of a Basilica in 2011.
